Amaryllis: a modular typeface
Year: 2018
I designed this typeface to be associated with magic—strokes vanish and serifs bloom from nothing. The process started with stripping down letterforms to their most essential parts and then created a system of flourishes for the serifs.
Maybe I’ll revisit this and make a usable typeface. Stay tuned.
